I think that this is a wonderful opportunity and can only begin to imagine the time and effort that has been put into this reunion. I just wanted to let you know that recently I was at the island on block house pond for my sons scouting event and noted that there were alot of wasp/hornet nest in the ceiling of the pavillion. Perhaps you might want to check with city hall and find out if and who takes care of this before the reunion date.
Laurie talked to the town about the insects. If I can get down the day before the reunion, I'll swing by and give them a blast if needed. Not that anyone wants to be stung, but atleast we are right next door to Beebe, and there will be several of us who are paramedics, EMTs, and nurses around.
Working on the school tour. Hopefully someone will get back to me soon. We can't tour the "old" school because they've already started tearing it down. But I'm trying to get in the "new" school. If it happens I think we can get 2 or 3 groups of about 10-15 people. If we can leave a message asking who wants to go that will be great. They would like a headcount if at all possible. Thanks Y'all!!!!
Hi all. I'm sorry to say that there will not be a tour. They say there is too much going on and safety reasons. Still haven't heard if we found an after reunion hotspot yet. But I'm checking on somethings. Don't know if Dewey is good on a Saturday nite. Maybe a class brunch on Sunday? Just an idea. See all on Saturday!!
